Alexandra (Rose) Nagele

Alexandra Nagele bio photo

Alexandra (Rose) Nagele is a Research Assistant at L&M Policy Research. Ms. Nagele has research experience in the biological sciences as well as the humanities. At L&M, she assists with primary data collection and analysis for the evaluation of the Home Health Value Based Purchasing Model, an initiative of the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). Ms. Nagele also contributes to qualitative research informing the development of web tools for the federally-facilitated health insurance exchange (HealthCare.gov). Additionally, she contributes to a project supporting the AHRQ Pediatric Quality Measures Program (PQMP) Learning Collaborative and a project assisting CMS with the monitoring and evaluation of active section 1115 demonstrations.

Prior to joining L&M, Ms. Nagele held a fellowship with the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities to conduct interdisciplinary research on the relationship between environmental, economic, and social change at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. She has also had positions at FactCheck.org, where she contributed to the research, writing, and editing of articles on political claims and misconceptions, and the Fox Chase Cancer Center, where she assisted research on lung cancer.

Ms. Nagele holds a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Biology with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania.
